Some people told us that we should not police other spiritual teachers. But we feel that it is important to have quality control in the spiritual field. Especially because there are so much people looking for solutions for there life problem, who are in a vulnerable position.

One way you can see if a teacher is genuine is by looking at his/her life. With Teal that brings up some shocking facts. What we found is that on the one hand she poses as and incarnation, guru, half-alien spiritual being from another dimension who is here to elevate the consciousness of the planet. She shares all this in her YouTube channel. On the other hand, in her blog, she shares her struggles. There is such a big mismatch between those two images. Her life and inner world is a mess, characterised by depression, failure in relationships, attention need, and who knows what kind of other mental conditions. But at the same time she keeps an outer image of spiritual teacher and guru.

Teal steals her material, Ma Swarupapriya even called her Steal 😃. Teal copies ‘her' insights, techniques from other teacher and sources. Sometimes even verbatim from wikipedia! Here you can find much of the copy/pasting Teal did: http://www.celestialhealing.com/2014/...

Teal came on our radar her because she claimed that she invented the completion process, which she even patented and is publishing a book about. This is not hers, it is from Shiva Agamas, Vijnana Bhairava Tantra, verse 22. Our Guru Swami Nithyananda has spoken about it in dept for the last few years. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list...

The danger is that people who try it, even with Teals inadequate description, will have benefits. They will think it is Teal who it the source of that! They will feel Teal's teachings have some value and start seeing her as an authority. Then, next video, Teal blatantly tells that suicide is like a cosmic reset button - if you don't enjoy your life now, just choose death and see if next life turns out any better. What will happen? With this teaching, what will people who are depressed and considering suicide do? …. Exactly. And that is just one example.

Video series: The Ugly Truth about Teal Swan

'Steal Swan' steals completion process from Nithyananda and claims she invented it

Now, some may be shocked by the scathing feedback I'm giving about Steal Swan in this one, but it had to be said; she is claiming to have come up with the Completion Process on her own, even though it's an obvious (pitiful) rip-off of Swamiji's. (Swamiji first mentioned Completion in 2006, and started actively teaching the Completion Process in 2011, with videos about it on YouTube starting in 2012; Teal's claims to have come up with it in 2015...) Not only that, it's misleading people, causing more harm than good. By making people use "triggers," (those external stimuli that bring on panic attacks or throw them into fear and painful memories,) instead of leading people to relive and relieve properly, she may be cunningly avoiding to use the identical words shared by Swamiji in His revealed technique, but sadly, she is making people only numb themselves to their past traumas, but not overcome them completely. What will happen to those people if a different trigger sets them off? What if they find themselves again in the harmful situation? They won't actually be complete, and suddenly their suppressed pain will rush to the surface. Fake teachers, embodiments of avidya, the dangerous kind who half-grasp subjects then spew them onto an unsuspecting public of seekers, should be avoided. Please, dear viewers, avoid Teal Swan. Go to the read, authentic Source, which always gives true credit.

In the Dharma tradition, even IF someone "discovers something within," they always corroborate that discovery with what the Rishis have revealed in ancient scriptures. What we realize is Atma Pramana, self-discovered; what is in the scripture is Apta Pramana, divinely revealed.

Polyamory: Why you should not listen to Teal Swan for (relationship) advice

The claims that Teal Swan makes in her video about polyamory should not be followed by anyone to make relationship decisions. In this video we show that Teal Swan is not holding the right context for relationship and should not be someone you listen to for matters that concern your relationships and life.

She is now heading to her 4th marriage, after three divorces. She claims to be a spiritual teacher, but mostly mixes and matches work of others, without having the experience herself to back it up. That often results in ill advice. With a following base of 300.000 people you should be responsible for what you say. People are listening and making life decisions based on her claims. If it were just Teal Swan planning her own life, that would not be a problem for us. But she claims to be a spiritual teacher.
Teal Swan says that polyamory is the future of relationships, and that it will help you open up to the world and oneness with everyone. We say opening up is not dependent on the amount of partners you have. Wether you have an intimate relationship with one or multiple people, or if you live a life of celibacy, does not matter for transformation. To Teal polyamory might just appeal, because having a healthy, intimate relationship with one person is not working out. But it is not the solution, because the same faulty mental setup will be there in all relationships.
What does matters for success and transformation in relationships is the context you hold. That is where Teal clearly misses the point, and not a small one. She states that with polyamory you have "more people available to complete your needs, sometimes the 1 person cannot give you what you need. in monogamous relationships, especially if they don’t work very well, we can end up starving. you can’t actually deny a need that you have, you have to get that need met".
Here it shows that she is expecting to have her needs completed by someone else. That she thinks more people will more easily fulfil her needs. That is THE context for failure in relationship, and life in general. But as anyone with spiritual experience will know, nothing outside of us will ever fulfil our needs. Especially one who claims to be a teacher should know. Seeking fulfilment outside is the basic mistake we all make, when your seeking turns inwards, only then you become a spiritual seeker.
Then Teal says: "remember that I said, if you don’t like drama that polyamory is not for you? well, if you are the kind of person who easily gets bored and drama is your cup of tea, so is polyamory - you are never going to have a dull moment"
This shows that she needs drama in her life to feel alive. What does this mean? It means that there is a deep emptiness and depression inside, that again she tries to fulfil by something outside. That feeling of being alive, can only come from the source of bliss within. When we mistake it to come from outside, bondage and suffering starts. Please don't follow her advice and make that mistake. Rather look for an authentic, enlightened teacher, that in addition to his own experience also gives you the scriptural reference to what he is teaching. So you know you are dealing with authentic, time-tested teachings, and someone who can explain from his own experience. If a teacher does not match these criteria, don't follow that teacher, don't waste your time and life, it is precious. Wherever you go to for your spiritual guidance, always remember that piece of advice.

The danger of fake spiritual teachers: copy/paste without experience.

First thing, we should all know the danger of following someone who is not enlightened; Swamiji has made it perfectly clear:
10th verse of Isavasya Upanishad says:
Anyadevahur Vidayaya Anyata Kuravidyaya Iti Shushrumadhiranaam Enastat Vichachakshire
This means:
"It is said that by vidyā, the knowledge cognized from the right context of grasping the Truth, Consciousness, and the superficial knowledge acquired from the wrong context of grabbing, (without cognizing the subtle Truth), certainly a different result is achieved. Similarly, it is said that by avidyā, the authentic actions and the ignorant actions, a very different result is achieved. Thus have we listened from those wise beings who have explained that absolute principle to us."
Teal doesn't actually grasp the concepts she teaches, she only grabs them, which is evident from the fact that entire blogs exist showing what she claims to have written, compared to the original source writing she copies and pastes from. Claiming to have written something that someone else wrote is plagiarism, (which I mentioned in one video; Teal replied to that by saying she is being "attacked" by a "hater," but didn't actually confirm or deny that she stole the Completion Process from Swamiji,) and even IF she "teaches" what she plagiarized, the result will be different for people than if they learn it from the authentic source. If it was possible for anyone to memorize a sacred scripture then parrot it back and help people, the Upanishadic Rishis wouldn't so clearly tell that if we learn grasped knowledge a different result is achieved than if we learn grabbed knowledge!
How do I know that Teal grabs knowledge?
Please read this if you have any doubt; just scroll and see! Her "blog" is compared to original written work by others. The words that are VERBATIM are highlighted in green:

Not only that, this is really quite funny. Back in the day, a horror writer made a novel about some black magic killings. Within his novel, a FAKE book of spells was used by the evil characters to awaken corpses and channel demons; it was called The Necronomicon. When the horror book got popular, publishers made a "real" version of that FAKE book, and published it. One of Teal's supposedly mystically channeled paintings is of the FAKE sigil from that book cover! Now, even if it WAS a real symbol, that would mean she's vibrating to a DEMONIC frequency! But since it's a FAKE sigil, it means, she's VIBRATING TO THE FREQUENCY OF FAKE EVIL! (It would be like if I made a devotional portrait of an enlightened master who left the body, saying I had a vision of him... and painted Yoda.)
